Leonard S. Becker is the founder of the Law Offices of Leonard S. Becker, where he focuses on representing individuals who have been injured due to another’s negligence.
For the past 27 years, he has worked on behalf of accident victims obtaining full and fair compensation for their injuries, wage losses, and medical expenses. His extensive experience spans representation of clients injured due to wrongful death, bus and car accidents, sidewalk defects, work accidents, and dog attacks.
Mr. Becker’s unique combination of compassion and strength has resulted in a proven track record of success on behalf of his clients. Based on his experience, Mr. Becker’s preferred method of resolution combines strategy and advocacy. His negotiation skills have resulted in many successful outcomes on behalf of his clients. He is also a proven trial attorney and has obtained verdicts for his clients in both state and federal courts.
He is a committed and compassionate advocate and these traits are reflected in his efforts outside of his legal practice. He has been involved as an education volunteer since the mid 1990′s. Over the years his volunteerism has included grammar school and adult literacy tutoring. He has served the public schools near his home as a member of the Local School Counsel of two grammar schools and chairing several Parent Teacher Organization committees. Since 1994, he has been a volunteer attorney with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services providing legal representation to those who cannot otherwise afford legal services. He was a past recipient of the organization’s Distinguished Service Award.
Mr. Becker is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and is admitted to practice before all state courts in Illinois , the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Illinois Bar, Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
